Zimbabwe - Fast Facts

Zimbabwe, located in southern Africa, covering an area of 390,759 sq km (150,873 sq miles), and a population of 10,401,767. Zimbabwe is bordered by Zambia to the northwest, Mozambique to the northeast, South Africa to the south and Botwana to the southwest.

Climate: The hot and dry season is from September to Octomber and the rainy season for November to March. The best months to visit are April and May and August to September. Reqiured cothing: Tropical lightweights and rainwear for the wet season.

The capital is Harare. The official languages are English and the Shona and Ndelele dialects.

Time is GMT + 2. Electricity is 220/240 volts AC.
